2020/21 LIGHTNING ATHLETICS TEAMS
CROSS COUNTRY RUNNING

This year was a year of training not competing. We had a dedicated group of runners that showed up consistently, 3 days a week, to train and run. These athletes showed great heart and honour as they ran for the love of the their sport and supported each other in their training and personal bests!

We were unable to take team photos due to COVID-19 restrictions at the time, but Lesley Young of Lesley Jean Photography came out and got some outstanding individual shots of our runners!

GOLF
COACHES - DYLAN WINNICKY, MIKE GOLBY

The golf team spent the month of September working on their game at Riverbend Golf Course. While they were unable to compete this year, they all enjoyed the time with the coaches developing their skills and working on their game.
​
We are hoping to have these kids out in the Spring to continue their practice and get a team photo.
