WHILE WE WERE UNABLE TO CELEBRATE TOGETHER AT OUR ANNUAL AWARDS BANQUET, WE CELEBRATED OUR ATHLETES ON OUR INSTAGRAM PAGE AND COACHES MET UP WITH WINNERS AT A SAFE PHYSICAL DISTANCE TO PRESENT THEM WITH THEIR AWARDS. THANK YOU FOR ANOTHER GREAT YEAR OF LIGHTNING ATHLETICS!
The Team MVP award is presented to the athlete for their impact on the team. The athlete who consistently made an impact on the success of the team, and their teammates, while maintaining a high standard of compete and excellence in their sport.

The Lightning Award is always a tough choice for coaches. This award is given to the athlete on the team who exemplifies the team’s spirit. They are the the team glue. They may be a behind the scenes contributor or a person that the team looks to for inspiration and their talent to lead. Their work ethic is always consistent and their character is one to follow. Please note, for our spring sports that did not take place this year, this award is being given to recognize past contributions of athletes and thank them for all they gave to their teams.
